YMA+D had the opportunity to design Hino Mexico’s booth for Expo Transporte, the largest commercial vehicle trade show in the Americas. Our concept was a 360° open and approachable booth, featuring a two-story pavilion showcasing used vehicle parts.
Hino Mexico is the Mexican branch of Hino Motors, a Japanese vehicle manufacturer. Their “Total Support” program is built on a commitment to supporting customers’ vehicles and businesses as a long-term partner. For this expo, Hino dealerships across Mexico generously collected hundreds of used vehicle parts — replaced from customers’ vehicles as part of this complimentary service — and shipped them to Guadalajara to bring the booth to life.
For a trade show that runs only for three days, featuring repurposed materials like used vehicle parts highlighted Hino’s focus on sustainability, as well as the value that the Total Support program provides both for the environment and customers’ businesses.
The booth was awarded the “Most Sustainable Stand” of the expo by the organizer ANPACT.
“The design was developed with an innovative and responsible approach, integrating more than 500 reused brakes and clutches from our Unlimited Warranty program. Through this initiative, we demonstrate that sustainability and innovation can go hand in hand to transform the industry.
This recognition reaffirms Hino’s commitment to continuous improvement and to developing solutions that generate value for transportation, faithfully reflecting our philosophy of Total Support.”
