YMA+D had the opportunity to design Hino Mexico\u2019s booth for Expo Transporte, the largest commercial vehicle trade show in the Americas. Our concept was a 360\u00b0 open and approachable booth, featuring a two-story pavilion showcasing used vehicle parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hino Mexico is the Mexican branch of Hino Motors, a Japanese vehicle manufacturer. Their “Total Support” program is built on a commitment to supporting customers’ vehicles and businesses as a long-term partner. For this expo, Hino dealerships across Mexico generously collected hundreds of used vehicle parts \u2014 replaced from customers’ vehicles as part of this complimentary service \u2014 and shipped them to Guadalajara to bring the booth to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For a trade show that runs only for three days, featuring repurposed materials like used vehicle parts highlighted Hino\u2019s focus on sustainability, as well as the value that the Total Support program provides both for the environment and customers\u2019 businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The booth was awarded the \u201cMost Sustainable Stand\u201d of the expo by the organizer ANPACT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe design was developed with an innovative and responsible approach, integrating more than 500 reused brakes and clutches from our Unlimited Warranty program. Through this initiative, we demonstrate that sustainability and innovation can go hand in hand to transform the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
